The Minnesota Twins organization made a trade Friday, sending Fort Myers Miracle closer Josh Daws to the Cincinnati organization for Double-A infielder Ryan Owens.

Daws was 0-1 with a 3.86 ERA, in 11 games this season. He was tied for third in the Florida State League with five saves.

Daws pitched in 21 games with the Miracle in 2002, going 2-0 with a 2.08 ERA and two saves.

He was a 2002 All-Star with Quad City of the Midwest League before being called up to the Miracle.

The Twins assigned Owens to Double-A New Britain.

The Miracle will add catcher Jose Morales.

The 5-11 switch-hitter batted .309 last season with 28 RBI with the Gulf Coast League Twins. He switched to catcher during the 2002 Fall Instructional League.

Morales was named to the 2002 GCL postseason All-Star team.
